Prof. Sunita Zalpuri Kaul has around 36 years of experience in the Teaching, Research & Training Law Department and Commerce of the University of Kashmir. She has worked as Lecturer/Administrative Officer in MIER Educational Institution. Assistant Professor in the Social Sciences faculty of J&K IMPA, Institute of Management Public Administration and Rural Development. Associate Professor in faculty of Social Sciences of J&K IMPA Where in the training programmes, workshops and Courses are designed and conducted for in –service officers of J&K IMPA .She has conducted more than 250 programmes on topics like – Human Right Issues, Consumer Protection, Environmental Degradation, Gender Issues, Good Governance, RTI, Rights of Children, Administrative Laws, Public Service Guarantee Act and others. She has also conducted more than 30 programmes on Trainer Development Projects in all over India ATIs like RIPA, HIPA, ISTM, UPPA, IIPA, Nattresss, PTA,and MGIPA including J&K IMPA. She is the only Master Trainer for Direct Trainer Skills Course of Training Division, DOPT, GOI in J&K State. The Only Recognised Trainer for Design of Training Course of Trainer Division, DOPT, GOI. Under UNDP Projects strengthening of State ATIs in India developed package on Administrative Laws. She has conducted series of programmes for National Human Rights Commission NHRC right from 2006 till present on Human Rights Issues in J&K State details given in the NHRC Website and J&K IMPA Website. Prof. Sunita Zalpuri Kaul has received the Women Achiever Award for the year 2010 and conducted a recognised development programme ISTM, in New Delhi. She has Designed and Conducted Workshop on Rights of Child and Development, Charters in Government for senior level functionaries of the State, sponsored by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievance. She was awarded a Certificate of Achievement under Training of Trainers Programme of the National PPP Capacity building Programme of the Government of India, sponsored by the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Training delivered by CRISIL Infrastructure Advisory. She has Attended 3 phased module development on Ethics and Values in Public Governance at Panchgani, Asia Plateau the module developed by training division, DOPT, GOI in collaboration with Pragati Leadership, Initiatives of Change, Pune and IC Centre for Governance for the year 2012. Conducted Pilot Run on Ethics and Values in Public Governance under Hand Holding Phase of the Sponsors. Attended National Workshop on Gender Budgeting NIRD, Hyderabad in collaboration with Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. Attended Review Meetings at HSMI HUDCO Bhawan, New Delhi under HUDCO Project.
