Prof. Ranjan Walia has over 18 years of experience in the industry, academics, and academic administration. He did his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed to be University), Patiala, Punjab, India. He did his post-graduation (M.Tech.) from the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) (Deemed to be University), Punjab, India. He did his graduation (B.Tech.) from the Department of Instrumentation & Control Engineering from JMIT, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India. He is a member of professional bodies like IEEE etc. He has, to his credit, over 35 research papers published in SCI/SCIE & SCOPUS indexed and other peer-reviewed journals and conferences of national and international repute, Book Chapters; Indian and Australian Patents. He has also been a Reviewer in various peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences. His research areas include Active Noise Control, Biomedical Signal Processing, IoT, Industrial Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Renewable Energy, Energy Harvesting, etc. He is also associated as a mentor at ATAL Incubation Centre - EMPI, New Delhi.
